I’ve mentioned my son started preschool…well…still crying every Tuesday and Thursday when I drop him off. I’m totally that mom! But while he’s at school.. It does give me and Harper some one on one time that she never had the chance to get. We try to stay busy to pass the 3 hours (feels like 10) Brooks is at school. She is equally depressed as she points to his car seat grunting. So today we made DIY matching mom and daughter braceletes and ate some homemade Reese’s cookies while we did it. I used this recipe… I’m definitely not a baker, so they weren’t as pretty but I tried. http://www.food.com/recipe/peanut-butter-reeses-pieces-cookies-342485
These Bracelettes were probably the simplest DIY I’ve ever done and the cheapest! It was all purchased at Hobby Lobby at 50% off. Ten dollars baby!! And they are stylish! I decided to make Harper’s bracelet with beads a little bigger for obvious purposes. I also found the perfect D monogram charm … But they were out of the M, so I’ll definitely have to check back later.
She LOVED the little tassel on her charm and kept kissing her bracelet over and over.
It’s the perfect keepsake for me and her to keep thru the years. When tassels are out of style she can always use it as a bookmark haha 😉 just kidding.. She better not! That tiny string was not easy to tie!
