It has been EXTREMELY hot lately, and I can just hear Mother Nature scream “cool us down dang-it!!” So with the hot weather comes the rain, and being stuck inside means it’s my job to find something creative to do for the kids which usually leads to arts and crafts.
I am a HUGE fan of dress up, so we ended up making paper masks (which is my favorite) and Indian headdresses. SO simple. I honestly just winged it with the paper masks. I had the kids help me glue as I cut out the pictures. Honestly I am not even sure what Brooks’s mask is supposed to be… maybe a dinosaur? It was honestly just fun to be creative with them.
The Indian headdresses is definitely a keeper! I used hot glue to attach the feathers to the ribbon and ended up just tying the ribbon around their head.
The bell instruments were a HIT. To make these, I used string to attach the bells together and simply tied it around the pieces of wood. I heard bell songs for weeks!
Psalms 27:1 The Lord is my light and salvation; Why should I be afraid?
