What is it about blood? There is something about my nieces and nephews where I think they do no wrong. Even when I hear my sisters tell me stories about how they scream all night or drew smiley faces on the lampshades to show their artist skills, I still cannot do anything but smile and imagine how cute they were when they did it. I know my kids aren’t cute when they scream or act crazy, so I cannot figure out why their stories are so humorous to me. But there is nothing better than getting the cousins together. Since we live hours apart, we have to catch a visit when we can. And when we do, it is worth the while. This particular weekend my sister decided to drive down with her daughter Kimes. My daughter, Harper, and Kimes are 6 weeks apart, so seeing them together is quite humorous. Harper had two tutu dresses that ended up being perfect for their simple little tea party. We of course put little puffs in their glasses for them to snack on, threw a hat on their heads, and we just sat back and watched. I swear they were talking about us… but who could tell? Many more tea parties are in our future!
