Before I became a stay at home mom, I taught Language Arts with a K-6 teaching degree. I LOVED figuring out fun ways to teach my students , and now that I am a mom… it becomes even more personal. I try to teach my kids everyday…. even if it’s as simple as counting the grapes that my daughter conveniently decided to throw on the floor during lunch time. Teaching them that learning is fun can have a positive impact on their education later.
Right now toys are their thing, so finding useful educational toys can go a long way! Young kids will shut down if education is forced down their throats, so we have to be creative. Here are some of my favorites:
